Good News Bible Church - Santo Antonio de Jesus - Bahia

Founded in 2002 - This Church plant began in the pastors small living room as a Bible Study.  Soon even expanding by tearing out several walls would not hold the crowds. A donation from CGGC churches made it possible to purchase a property and begin the needed Bethel to house the many worshipers. Today this church is the largest of our Brazilian Good News Conference.

Pastor Samuel and wife Iramaia  have served since February 2008. The church continues to grow under their able leadership. Decisions for Christ and baptisms are frequent motives for praise!

The Bible Institute called, “Seminary for Servants in the Lord’s Service” (photo below) began in 2006. The Institute is held two nights a week and all students pay tuition fees plus hold down full time jobs. Pray for this church as it plans to reach out to the region with new church plants.

Pray that God would call out from the Institute future leaders, pastors and missionaries.
